History

Founded in January 2021 as the Heat Pro Series, Sage Karam won the inaugural season with 11 race victories, which is third all time.

The series was quickly sponsored by Thrustmaster to begin it's second season in April 2021.  Randy Learner won the series points championship with a record 20 race victories .

In July 2021, the third season kicked off, with the series adopting the playoff system for the first time and adding the Xfinity and Truck series.  The new 3 series format allowed the series to expand and open the door for more drivers.  Season 3 saw 17 different drivers win a cup race, the most in series history.  Tyler Wright won 6 races on his way to the Season 3 Championship.

Season 4 kicked off in November 2021, and for the first time in it's history, the series saw a full field of drivers in all 3 series.  Sage Karam won 15 races (2nd most in series history), 5 of which came in the playoffs, to secure his 2nd Series Championship.

In January 2022, an abbreviated Season 5 began.  Only 15 races took place before the season was cancelled due to personal reasons and illness with several members of the administration team.  Bobby Decker Jr. became the first driver without a win to win the championship.

In March of 2022, the administration team met to discuss new rules for the upcoming Season 6.  Several rules changes were made, including setup restrictions, personal conduct and sponsored race payouts.  These rules where made with hopes of making the league more competitive and enjoyable for drivers and fans alike.

In April 2022, Season 6 took the green flag and for the first time in series history, a road course is included on the schedule, the Indy Roval.  Season 6 looks to be the most exciting season thus far.
